Let Go to Let In

Have you ever noticed how easily you can talk yourself out of something you really want?

Or how quickly your mind can create a story about what's going wrong, what hasn't happened yet, or what you wish were different?

I've been thinking a lot about the power of our thoughts, the stories we tell ourselves, and how much freedom comes when we stop trying to control every detail of our lives.

In this week's episode of Living in the Faith Frequency, LoriAnn and I explore what happens when we let go of expectations, trust the timing of our lives, and become more intentional about where we place our attention.

I also share a personal experience from a recent event that brought up some unexpected feelings of loneliness. And just when I needed it most, something happened that reminded me I wasn't alone.

In this conversation, we talk about:

- The power of self-talk: Are you talking yourself into the experiences you want or talking yourself out of them?
- Letting go of expectations: How releasing the need to control the timing and outcome can create more peace.
- Recognizing life's little messages: What becomes possible when we slow down enough to notice what's supporting us?
- Seeing people with fresh eyes: How letting go of old stories and assumptions can transform our relationships.
- Focusing on what you want: A simple shift in perspective that can change how you experience your day and your life.

One of the things I keep coming back to is this:
We can acknowledge what we don't want without continuing to give it our attention.

And we can allow ourselves to feel whatever we're feeling without making ourselves wrong.

Sometimes all it takes is a moment of awareness, a little curiosity, and the willingness to turn our attention toward what we do want.

That's where we begin to find our way back to faith, trust, and the life we're consciously creating.

I hope this conversation encourages you to slow down, listen to yourself, and recognize just how much is available to you, even when life isn't unfolding the way you expected.
