Understanding Anger
Have you ever felt angry and then felt guilty for being angry?
Or maybe you've found yourself trying to make someone else feel better because their emotions made you uncomfortable.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned through my own life experiences, especially through grief and change, is that we don't have to run from uncomfortable emotions. We can learn to sit with them, understand them, and allow them to guide us.
And yes, that includes anger!
In this week's episode of Living in the Faith Frequency, LoriAnn and I dive into a conversation you might not expect from two women who talk so much about joy, love, and living in a higher frequency.
We're talking about ANGER!
And here's something that might surprise you... Anger isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes it's actually a sign that you're beginning to recognize you deserve something better.
We explore some powerful questions, including:
- What if anger is actually a step forward? Why anger can sometimes be a healthier emotional place than hopelessness or despair.
- Can you hold space without taking on someone's emotions? How to be a loving friend without getting pulled into their frustration or reinforcing a victim mindset.
- What does emotional safety really look like? Why we all need a place to feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment.
- What if curiosity could change a difficult conversation? How asking a simple question can create connection instead of conflict.
One of the things I share in this episode is that I've spent years learning how to find peace, joy, and freedom from other people's opinions… and I'm still practicing!
I don't have it all figured out.
But I do believe that when we stop judging our emotions and start getting curious about them, we create space for greater self-awareness, compassion, and personal freedom.
And isn't that what living in the Faith Frequency is all about?
My hope is that this conversation gives you a fresh perspective the next time you or someone you love experiences a difficult emotion.
Because living in alignment doesn't mean feeling good all the time. It means learning to honor yourself through all of life's emotions.
